Adrenal fatigue is an overlooked condition by many medical doctors. Most commonly caused by stress, adrenal fatigue can result from one large event or years of constant stress from physical, mental, or environmental factors that eventually causes your glands to fatigue. L-Theanine has been shown to be an effective treatment for adrenal fatigue because it increases the release of a prominent neurotransmitter called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). GABA then increases the release of dopamine and serotonin. The increase in relaxation reduces stress, which then allows your adrenal glands to relax, helping them to heal and not be constantly active.
